Mia's Dream Closet: November 2010

What we do......

Mia's Dream Closet will give your child the princess party of their dreams!

We will bring the magic to your home, or choice of venue.

We will set up a rack full of beautiful costumes for the children to choose from, along with shoes and accessories. There will be a stylist for the first hour to help the children get dressed and will also do their hair and apply magic glitter to arms and cheeks. The children will be occupied by looking at princess books, and coloring princess pages (provided by the stylist) while they wait for their turn to get ready for the festivities.

Once they are done getting dressed and ready they will have a photo shoot. The stylist will take an individual shot of each child, then a group shot. The children will be able to take their photo home at the end of the party.

Once the photos are done the Princesses will get a visit from their very own Fairy Godmother for the 2nd hour, and she will provide a magical craft for the children to do together, followed by a magical story.

When the children are done eating, drinking, and socializing the stylist will be helping them change out of their costumes, into their own clothes. The stylist will clean up and take down all decorations and party supplies.

Mia's Dream Closet is so excited to be featured at the 2010 SF and Penisula Kids Party Expo along with other party vendors such as Super Kimagery Photograhy, Tiny Treats, Party Favors"R"Us, Dono the Clown, The Lizard Lady, and Making Memories!! If you have a chance, come by November 20th @3:30pm to Sweet Connections in San Bruno, and see all the fun stuff we have!!

Party Packages

Royal Princess Package for children - $495

*Custom made princess dresses to rent.

*Sparkly shoes and accessories.

*Beautiful table setting for up to ten children to their craft on.

*Party favors for each child.

*One personalized gift for the birthday child.

*One beautiful Princess castle back drop for Magical photos.

*Keepsake photo for each child to take home along with a thank you card.

*One "Stylist" for one hour to help get children dressed and hair done for party festivities.

*One "Fairy Godmother" for one hour to lead the children in an art activity and magical story.

*Party time runs for 2 hours. We will arrive one hour prior to the start of your two hour party to set up.

*$15 additional fee per child after tenth child.

Policies and Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations: Please call or e-mail us to schedule your party 2 to 4 weeks in advance to reserve your desired party date.

We can also accomodate "last minute" parties, just call to check availability.

Deposit: A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your party date. Balance is due on the date of your party.

Forms of Payment: We accept cash, check, or money order. We apologize, but we do not accept credit card payments at this time.

Gratuity and Tips: A gratuity is not required, but is accepted and always appreciated for a job well done!

How far do you travel? Mia's Dream Closet will travel 25 miles out of South San Francisco. Anything farther than 25 miles additional charges will be applied.

RSVP confirmation: We will contact you 3 days prior to your event date to confirm your final guest count. We will use that number to determine the amount of costumes, party favors, and art activities to bring to your party.

Party Set-Up and Prep: We will arrive at your party site 1 hour prior to the start of your party to set-up, and decorate.

Guest Attire: Because our parties are dress-up parties, we ask that the girls come prepared wearing a leotard ,swimsuit, or slip to keep on at all times underneath the costumes. This way the girls are never undressed, while they are changing into their costumes.

Can boys attend? Of course! We realize that some princesses have brothers, cousins, or friends that are boys. If this is the case, we can provide Knight or Pirate costumes for the gentlemen, and bring "knight" or "pirate" party favors and crafts.

Can I have a weekday party? Yes! We can accomodate parties any day during the week depending on availability. We can even do playdate parties!!

Late Arrivals: Please advise all your guest to arrive on time because our parties are carefully planned out, and will start promptly at the scheduled time. This is needed to ensure the least amount of disruption to the party activities. If a child arrives late they can join the party at the point the party has progressed to.

Adults at party: We ask that at least 1 parent of the birthday child stay throughout the duration of the party, to attend to the possible needs of the children.

Party Areas: We will need an area to set up the craft area, dressing area, and party favor station. Please have your space ready for us to set-up.

Cancellations and rescheduling: Once your party is booked, and your deposit is paid, the party can only be posponed one time. We will gladly work with you to reserve an alternate party date. If you decide to cancel your party for any reason, please remember that the deposit is non-refundable.

Parking: Please allow space in front of your home or driveway for us to park. We will have heavy equipment to bring into your home. We greatly appreciate the accomodation.

Liability: Mia's Dream Closet assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents, injuries to party guests, or property damage. We can assure you we will provide a safe environment for all the children, and will treat your home like a royal palace!

Damage: We do understand that accidents happen, however, the client may be held responsible for excessive damage to costumes, and property of Mia's Dream Closet.

Other Considerations: Because we want to maintain the highest quality of our costumes, we kindly ask that any food or beverages that will be served to the children while in our costumes be approved before hand. Beverages should be light colored or clear (please no cola or fruit punch), and please no foods containing red tomato sauce or dark colored jellies. Please remember that the client may be held responsible for excessive damge to Mia's Dream Closet property.

Client Obligations: We ask that you provide

-Safe and clean areas for activities.

-Gathering area for parents of the guests away from

activites.

-A smoke free enviroment.

-1 parent to stay throughout party activities to attend to

the children's possible needs.

Photos: Mia's Dream Closet may use pictures from our parties to use for promotional purposes. Names of children will never be printed with the photos.
